The History of Classic Cars

Classic cars have a special place in the hearts of people all over the world. From the early days of automobiles, there have been certain models and makes that have stood out as iconic, beautiful, and influential. These cars have not only captured our imaginations, but they have also played a crucial role in shaping our culture and society.

One of the earliest examples of classic cars is the Model T, which was introduced by Ford in 1908. This car revolutionized the automobile industry and made cars more accessible to the general public. With its affordability and reliability, the Model T quickly became a symbol of the American dream and a symbol of freedom and independence.

As the decades passed, classic cars continued to evolve and change. In the 1920s and 1930s, cars became more stylish and sophisticated, with luxurious features like wood paneling, leather upholstery, and polished chrome. During the 1950s and 1960s, muscle cars and hot rods became popular, with powerful engines and flashy designs that spoke to a new generation of car enthusiasts.

As relatively new residence of Camarillo I started showing some of my cars at Rods and Roses. It simply is the best venue of quality cars and a wonderful setting of shop’s and people.
Coming from the car center of the world, Carmel / Pebble Beach…. it was great to find this event and look forward to bringing my 36 Ford award winning “Hammer Time Trophy Award, from 2023” to the event. Hope you can see it July 1st, 2024
