About the Show
Since its debut in 1997, Rods & Roses has fast become Carpinteria’s beloved classic car celebration, rolling out hundreds of vintage beauties, from early 1900s machines to iconic '60s muscle, all lining historic Linden Avenue. The recent 2025 iteration showcased over 200 vehicles, drawing crowds eager for craftsmanship, originality, and charm!
Beyond the gleaming hoods and sleek paint, Rods & Roses is deeply rooted in community and philanthropy. It has cumulatively raised impactful funds for local youth-oriented nonprofits, including Future Farmers of America, Hope Net, Carpinteria Education Foundation, California Women for Agriculture, Carpinteria Cares for Youth, and more. Local businesses and generous community members fuel the event through donations, while booth spaces are donated to local nonprofits, letting groups raise awareness and funds directly.
New additions to 2025’s show included live entertainment, such as the Carpinteria High School cheer team and a stirring a cappella National Anthem performance by Soleil Perry, tying into the Independence Day festivities.
And following the show, participants and spectators merge into the annual Carpinteria - Independence Day Parade, extending the celebration into the late afternoon.
